Hajjah - Saba:
The Local Council in Hajjah Governorate, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Ismail Al-Muhaim, discussed on Wednesday the expenditure and progress of projects implemented during the year 1446 AH in various fields, including agriculture, initiatives, roads, social , institutional development, and others.

The meeting reviewed a report on revenue collection for the period (Muharram to Dhu al-Qi'dah 1446 AH), the reasons for deficits in local and shared resources, and proposed solutions.

The council also examined a report from the Social Affairs Office for the year 1446 AH, highlighting activities carried out in cooperative societies, orphan and juvenile care, productive families, psychological support programs, case management, and measures taken to reduce begging.

The meeting emphasized the important role of zakat and endowments in supporting orphanages and the need to activate economic empowerment programs to assist needy families and establish a permanent market for local products.

Additionally, the council stressed the importance of expanding cooperative society memberships in accordance with the law, encouraging community engagement in cooperative work, and forming a committee to assess struggling cooperatives and restructure some of them.

The session reviewed a report on the education sector for the past academic year, its plans for the current year, and challenges, along with proposed solutions. It underscored the need to address the situation of displaced teachers and support the efforts of the Social Affairs Office and the education sector to improve their performance.

The Local Council praised the heroic operations of the armed forces, reaffirming its support for the revolutionary leadership and the armed forces in continuing to stand with their brothers in Gaza and defending the nation’s land, honor, and sovereignty.

The council reiterated the importance of ongoing mobilization, training, and enrollment in open military courses under "Al-Aqsa Flood" campaign.
