A meeting was held today at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Local Administration and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani to discuss aspects related to strengthening economic empowerment projects.
The meeting included Minister of Social Affairs Samir Bajah, Sana'a Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi, and Head of the Small and Micro Enterprises Development Authority Ahmed Al-Kibsi.
Discussions focused on the role of the General Zakat Authority in supporting projects implemented by the Small Enterprises Development Authority, as well as the contributions of the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water Resources, Industry, Economy, Investment and Finance in supporting, financing and implementing these projects.
Deputy Prime Minister Al-Madani emphasized the importance of properly utilizing funds allocated for development projects and working to replace imported products with national ones to meet local market needs, which would contribute to strengthening the national economy and achieving self-sufficiency.
Sana'a Governor Al-Hadi reviewed the preparations and studies completed by the governorate in preparation for implementing economic empowerment projects
