The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office revealed a dangerous escalation in the suffering of juvenile prisoners inside Megiddo Prison, in light of what it described as deliberate medical neglect by the prison administration.
This has led to the spread of serious skin diseases such as scabies and the spread of boils on the children's bodies, without any effective medical intervention.
The Prisoners' Media Office explained in a statement on Wednesday that a number of juveniles are suffering from critical health conditions; some are unable to move their hands or touch anything due to the severity of the pain, while others are forced to receive help from their fellow prisoners to eat, due to their inability to stand or walk.
The office indicated that what is happening inside Israeli prisons against minors constitutes a clear crime of medical negligence.
