The Security Directorate of Al-Mahwit Governorate launched on Saturday the Police Force Manual to evaluate the performance of security personnel, as part of the Ministry of Interior's strategy to enhance institutional discipline and improve monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
During the launch ceremony, attended by Governorate Deputy Abdul Salam Al-Thamari, Al-Mahwit Security Director Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Tawus described the manual as a qualitative leap in the development of security apparatus performance.
He emphasized that the manual will contribute to promoting professional conduct and job discipline among security personnel, as well as standardizing the criteria governing field and administrative work.
Brigadier General Al-Tawus stated that the manual serves as a key reference for unifying evaluation methods across security departments, ensuring fairness and transparency, enhancing compliance with security duties, and strengthening public trust in security institutions.
He affirmed that the Al-Mahwit Security Directorate will diligently implement the manual to assess the actual performance of security personnel on the ground, providing an opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals and address shortcomings.
The launch was attended by Deputy Security Director Brigadier General Khaled Shammam, Central Security Forces Commander Colonel Mujalli Fakhruddin, and other security leaders and officers. Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations Colonel Shihab Amer presented a summary of the Police Force Manual's contents.
