Al-Dhalea – SABA:
The health sector in Al-Dhalea Governorate held a rally on Saturday in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, condemning the genocide, starvation, and blockade policies imposed on the Strip.
Participants—including health sector leaders and staff—denounced the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy, with U.S. support, against the people of Gaza, calling them unprecedented in modern history.
In a statement issued during the event, the participants stressed that what is happening in Gaza is a war crime committed in full view of a world that claims to uphold human rights. The statement noted that thousands of Palestinians have died from famine and so-called “death traps,” while thousands more face the same fate amid severe shortages of food, infant formula, and medicine.
The statement held the U.S. administration fully responsible for the deliberate starvation and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid escalating Israeli aggression and the ongoing blockade that prevents the entry of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid.
It urged all people of the Ummah and free voices worldwide to take urgent action, continue organizing public demonstrations in cities and capitals across the globe, and stage sit-ins outside UN offices and Israeli and U.S. embassies to expose their role in this organized crime.
The statement described the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza as one of the most heinous crimes of the modern era, emphasizing the need to stop Israeli aggression, genocide, siege, and starvation, and to prosecute the leaders of the occupying entity.
It also called for the immediate and unconditional opening of crossings and the urgent delivery of infant formula, nutritional supplements, medicines, medical supplies, and medical teams to the Gaza Strip.
