Gaza - SABA:
Five Palestinian civilians were killed and others wounded on Saturday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces while waiting for aid in southern Gaza.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing Nasser Medical Complex, the bodies of the five martyrs and several injured arrived at the hospital after being struck by Israeli gunfire near the U.S. aid center north of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Separately, several Palestinians were injured when an Israeli military drone targeted a displaced persons’ tent in the Bir 19 area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Earlier in the day, six Palestinians, including a child, were killed when Israeli forces attacked gatherings of civilians near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street south of Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that, as of earlier today, the total number of “Martyrs of Livelihood” — those killed while seeking aid — had risen to 1,793, with 12,590 others injured.
