Gaza – SABA:
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Saturday that only 83 aid trucks entered the territory on Friday, most of which were looted amid what it described as deliberate security chaos orchestrated by the Israeli enemy.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office said this was part of a policy of “engineering starvation and chaos” aimed at undermining the resilience and unity of the Palestinian people.
According to two-week statistics, the office reported that between July 27 and August 8, only 1,115 trucks entered Gaza—just 14% of the 7,800 trucks required to meet the minimum needs of more than 2.4 million starving residents in the besieged enclave.
It reiterated that Gaza needs no fewer than 600 trucks of aid and fuel daily to secure the basic minimum requirements, at a time when the territory is witnessing the near-total collapse of infrastructure due to ongoing genocide and starvation tactics carried out by Israel.
The office held Israel and its allies fully responsible for the crimes of starvation and genocide, calling on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community to take urgent and effective measures to open the crossings permanently and ensure the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid—especially food, baby formula, and life-saving medicines.
It also urged accountability for the Israeli enemy over its ongoing crimes against the civilian population, particularly starving children and women.
