Damascus - Saba:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that armed clashes broke out on Friday between local Druze factions and an armed group in the town of Najran, northwest of Sweida, resulting in the deaths of two people on both sides and the burning of homes.
The Observatory added that the attack resulted in material damage and the burning of some civilian homes before the attacking group withdrew.
The Syrian Observatory indicated that "the attack carried out by the armed group yesterday on the town, launched from the Qarasa axis and the Duwairi agricultural road, using medium weapons, constituted a new violation of the declared truce."
