Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Leader, described Yemen as "the jewel of the Axis of Resistance," divinely destined to bolster its cause.
In an interview with Iran’s Tasnim Agency on Saturday, Velayati stated:
- "The Yemenis don’t just aid the Resistance—they dominate the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and confront U.S., British, and allied schemes."
- "They strike targets linked to all backers of the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea with drones and missiles."
He noted that the USS Harry Truman was among military assets hit by Yemeni forces dozens of times, forcing its withdrawal under direct orders from Trump.
"Yemen has paralyzed the Israeli enemy and the U.S. Today, Syria’s Resistance will also rise to further thwart Zionist plots."
