Sana’a – Saba:
The Women’s Preparatory Committee for Muhammad birthday in the Capital Sana'a launched on Saturday a series of activities and events across the city’s districts and neighborhoods.
At the opening, Committee Chairwoman Ibtisam al-Mahtwari stressed the importance of celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), strengthening ties to his teachings, and following his path in supporting the oppressed and confronting enemies.
Cultural activist Mirfat al-Sawari highlighted the birthday as a pivotal moment in human history, marking the revival of values such as justice, equality, brotherhood, compassion, and noble ethics.
She added that the occasion should inspire the nation to thank God for the blessing of guidance embodied in the Prophet, a blessing lost through deviation from his true path.
School scouting teams also performed a display celebrating the Prophet’s birth.
