Gaza – Saba:
The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Saturday evening that the number of victims from erroneous airdrops of humanitarian aid since the start of the Zionist genocide in Gaza has risen to 23 martyrs and 124 injuries.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office confirmed that most of these airdrops land in areas under enemy ("Israeli") control or in forcibly evacuated neighborhoods, exposing those who approach them to direct targeting and killing.
The statement noted that last year, airdropped aid parcels fell into the sea, drowning 13 Palestinian civilians, while some airdrops land in the middle of civilian gatherings, rendering them useless and endangering the lives of the starving.
"We have repeatedly warned about the dangers of these inhumane methods and have consistently called for aid to be delivered safely and sufficiently through land crossings, especially food, infant formula, medicine, and medical supplies," the statement said.
The Government Media Office condemned the continued policy of "engineering starvation and chaos" led by the Israeli enemy, holding it—along with the U.S. administration, countries complicit in genocide, and the international community—fully responsible.
It called for serious and urgent action to open crossings and allow aid to flow without restrictions.
Palestinians in Gaza are facing an unprecedented wave of hunger since the Israeli enemy closed the Strip’s crossings in early March and imposed severe restrictions on the entry of food, relief supplies, fuel, and medicine.
Earlier today, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that the total number of "martyrs of sustenance" (those who died from starvation-related causes) had risen to 1,793, with 12,590 injuries recorded in hospitals.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 61,369 Palestinian civilians
(mostly children and women) and 152,850 injuries as of today. The toll is not final, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in inaccessible areas, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
