Tehran - Saba:
Iran confirmed that it is closely monitoring the current developments in the South Caucasus region, warning of the negative consequences of any foreign interference.
This came in a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry regarding the latest developments in the Caucasus region, according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency on Saturday.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed: "While emphasizing the adoption of all political, legal, and economic measures to guarantee its national rights and interests, the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that establishing communication routes and opening communications networks will serve the stability, security, and economic development of the countries of the region when this is within the framework of common interests, taking into account the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries of the region, and without any foreign interference."
The statement concluded by saying: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to continue constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation with both the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia to maintain peace, stability, and economic development in the region, through bilateral and regional cooperation, such as the 3+3 mechanism."
