Moscow - Saba: The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kamchatka announced on Saturday that aftershocks continue in the Kamchatka region following the powerful earthquake that struck on July 30. Seismologists recorded 43 earthquakes in the past 24 hours.
Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that one of the aftershocks was felt by residents of residential areas in the region. Temporary shelters in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vilyuchinsk are still operating, with 61 people staying there over the past day.
