Sana'a - Saba:
The Cancer Control Fund and the National Center for Oncology Treatment organized a solidarity stand today in Sana'a with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the vigil, attended by the Chairman of the Fund's Board of Directors, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Madani, the Director General of the National Center, Dr. Abdullah Thawabeh, and his Deputy, Ali Al-Mansour, condemned the crimes of genocide and starvation committed by the Zionist enemy, with the support of America, against the people of Gaza, unprecedented in history.
They denounced the crimes of the Zionist aggression against the people of Gaza, amidst Arab and Islamic inaction and international silence, asking, "How long will two billion Muslims and the people of the world continue to watch the Zionist scum kill the people of Gaza with hunger, disease, and murder?"
The participants emphasized that the weapon of starvation and the denial of medical supplies to the people of Gaza is an unforgivable crime and a stain on the brow of humanity. They pointed out that the children of Gaza did not die of hunger and disease alone as a result of the Zionist blockade, but that humanity, human conscience, and international and humanitarian laws have also died.
The participants addressed the people of Gaza, saying, "You are not alone. We live your pain, your hunger, your disease, and all your suffering, and you will be victorious, Allah willing." A statement issued by the vigil condemned the Zionist enemy's continued denial of the entry of food, medicine, and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip.
The statement considered the ongoing crimes of genocide and starvation by the occupying entity, its direct targeting of civilians and health facilities, and its stifling blockade, crimes against humanity. These crimes underscore the occupier's brutality and criminality, while also reflecting the inaction of international institutions, which are actual accomplices in the Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people.
The statement called for breaking the criminal blockade and urgent international action to halt this slow-motion mass slaughter. It emphasized that hospitals and health centers in Gaza have recorded a daily increase in hundreds of cases of severe, life-threatening malnutrition in recent days, with no capacity to respond or treat them due to the near-collapse of the health sector and the lack of medical and food resources.
It called on the free people of the world to exert continuous pressure to allow the entry of food, baby formula, nutritional supplements, medicines, medical supplies, and medical teams into the Gaza Strip.
The statement held the US administration fully responsible for the systematic war of starvation and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, amid escalating Israeli aggression, the ongoing blockade, and the prevention of the entry of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid.
