Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered Rain of varying intensity across several governorates, along with strong to very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected across parts of the governorates of Lahj, Dhale'a, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Hajjah, Mahwit, Amran, Saada, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely to fall on parts of the governorates of Shabwah, Bayda, and the western parts of Sana'a, Marib, and Jawf.
The center indicated the possibility of strong to very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at meteorological stations in Mahwit, was 77.7 mm, Abs-Hajjah: 27 mm, Al Kadan-Hodeida: 21 mm, Raymah: 18 mm, Taiz: 11 mm, Ibb: 6.4 mm, and Saada: 1.6 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of crossing or staying in floodwaters during and after rainfall. It also warned of mudslides, rockslides, and reduced visibility due to rainfall and fog.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
