The local authority and the mobilization division in Al-Durayhimi District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, launched on Saturday the celebrations commemorating the blessed anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH.
During the inauguration, the Director of the District, Muhammad Al-Musayi, emphasized that honoring the birth of the Great Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) reflects the adherence of the people of Al-Durayhimi to the noble path of the Prophet, their emulation of his great morals and stances, and their deep pride in his blessed biography, which brought humanity out of darkness into light.
He noted that the Yemeni people have always been at the forefront of the nation in supporting the Messenger of Allah, steadfastly walking the path of loyalty and belonging to the school of prophethood and carrying its moral and jihadist message to the world.
He also touched on Yemen’s historical role in supporting Islam and the contributions of its people in conquests and spreading the teachings of the noble religion, stressing that celebrating the Prophet’s Birthday embodies the strong connection of the Yemeni people with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
For his part, Abbas Omar, Deputy Head of the Educational Sector in the district, explained that this occasion represents an educational and spiritual milestone to promote the noble values brought by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and to instill in the youth the meanings of sacrifice and devotion in the cause of Allah.
He pointed out that the Mawlid al-Nabi celebrations serve as an opportunity to reflect on the Prophet’s noble biography and draw lessons from the life of the Final Prophet in facing the challenges and conspiracies targeting the Ummah. He affirmed that the occasion represents a renewed opportunity to deepen awareness of his great message and reinforce the values of mercy and justice that he brought.
