The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that air defense systems shot down 99 Ukrainian drones in the southwest of the country last night.

RT quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "From 8:00 PM on May 26 to 7:00 AM on May 27, air defense systems shot down 56 drones in Belgorod Region, 25 in Voronezh Region, 7 in Vladimir Region, 5 in Kaluga Region, 4 in Tula Region, 1 in Rostov Region, and 1 in Lipetsk Region.
