Sana'a – Saba:
The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Bajjalah, distributed on Tuesday bridal bags containing clothing and perfumes to visually impaired grooms participating in the eighth group wedding organized by the Yemeni Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Visually Impaired (Main Center) in Sana'a next Thursday.

During the distribution, Minister Bajjalah congratulated the grooms on their blessed marriage, made possible with support from the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. He noted that the group wedding, which includes 80 grooms and brides from across the republic, embodies Yemeni unity, as visually impaired couples from all provinces gathered in the capital, Sana'a—a city that always takes pride in hosting joyous and significant occasions in Yemen’s history.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, along with the government of construction and change, under the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, prioritizes the care and empowerment of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life, ensuring their full human rights.

For his part, Hamoud al-Naqeeb, Honorary President of the Yemeni Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Visually Impaired, expressed his happiness at the gathering of these grooms from various governorates, reflecting national unity, and congratulated them on completing half of their faith (through marriage).

Meanwhile, Abdulaziz Balhaj, President of the Association, welcomed the grooms from all provinces and the distinguished attendees, explaining that this initiative, adopted by the association for eight years, falls within its programs to assist visually impaired individuals who have completed university education in getting married.

Balhaj called on all organizations, capable individuals, and philanthropists to contribute to supporting such humanitarian initiatives, given their positive impact , social role in bringing smiles and happiness to this segment of society.
