Ramallah – Saba:
A group of Zionist settlers burned agricultural land in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Tuesday evening.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Amin Abu Alia, head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that Zionist settlers set fire to agricultural land in the eastern plain area, destroying most of the land in the region.
He added that enemy forces raided the area after the arson to provide protection for the settlers and prevented Palestinian civilians from approaching.
Earlier in the day, settlers had attacked the eastern outskirts of the village, attempting to burn farmland and crops before local residents confronted them and forced them to flee.
Settlers frequently target the plain area, burning and vandalizing Palestinian citizens' lands and properties, especially after establishing a new settlement outpost in the region recently.
Last month, settlers carried out 231 acts of sabotage and theft against Palestinian properties, affecting vast areas of land. Their attacks also resulted in the uprooting of 1,168 olive trees across the governorates of Ramallah (530 trees), Nablus (300), and Salfit (298).
