Gaza - Saba:
Hamas has stated that the brazen statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he denied the existence of famine in the Gaza Strip, citing the arrest of thousands of civilians by his fascist army and photographing them naked, and his sarcastic treatment of the humanitarian tragedy he created in Gaza, are an expression of a sick criminal mentality that has become a threat to the world and to the system of human laws and values.
Hamas added, in a press release on Wednesday, that this statement is not merely a disdain for the world's minds, but rather an explicit admission of the commission of mass humiliation crimes and a documentation of what was revealed by the images of unarmed detainees who were stripped of their clothes and humiliated in front of the cameras of the occupation soldiers.
It stressed that these criminal statements reflect a complete detachment from human behavior and a blatant disregard for the suffering of more than two million displaced people without food, water, or medicine. Hundreds of them have died of starvation, disease, and deprivation, according to documented UN reports.
It called on international judicial institutions, primarily the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, to document these criminal statements and work to complete the procedures for holding the fascist entity accountable and bringing its leaders to justice.
Hamas called on the international community not to be satisfied with condemnations, but to take urgent action to lift the immunity of the occupation's war criminal leaders and to halt this ongoing crime and blatant violation of international laws and conventions, which has been ongoing for more than 600 days.
