London - Saba:
South Korean Son Heung-min, captain of the English football team Tottenham Hotspur, has announced his departure from the team this summer.
Son has spent the past decade with Tottenham and achieved his goal of winning a title last May, when he helped the English team win the Europa League after a 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
This title ended Tottenham's 17-year wait for a title. Son explained that his decision was to seek a "new challenge" during a press conference in his home country ahead of Tottenham's friendly against Newcastle United, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday.
After arriving in Seoul on Friday, Son, who has made 454 appearances and scored 173 goals for Tottenham, confirmed his desire to leave.
