Sana'a - Saba:
A campaign to remove random speed bumps from main roads was carried out on Tuesday in Sana'a province.
The campaign, implemented by a team from the Ministries of Local Administration and Rural Development, Interior, the Road Maintenance Fund, and the General Traffic Department, in coordination with the province's operations, was attended by Sana'a Traffic Director Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Ataki, Director of Bilad Rus District Saleh Naji, and Deputy Security Director of the province Colonel Mohammed Al-Jabri. The team removed speed bumps on the Sana'a-Dhamar road.
Team members explained that 45 speed bumps were removed from the main road, spanning from Qahaza area to Naqeel Yaslah.
They noted that the campaign will continue until all speed bumps are removed, based on an agreement document for eliminating speed bumps on main inter-province roads and reports from committees that inventoried speed bumps on the Sana'a-Hodeida, Bajil-Ma'bar, Sana'a-Taiz, and Sana'a-Sa'ada routes.
Given the Road Maintenance Fund's ongoing asphalt road repairs, the first phase of the campaign began with removing speed bumps on the Sana'a-Yaslah and Bajil-Al-Sharq City-Ma'bar roads.
