Marib province witnessed on Sunday processions, events, and evening gatherings to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them), under the slogan "Hayhat Minna Al-Dhilla (Never to Humiliation).
In the Sirwah district, a speech event was held in the presence of Governor Ali Taiman and the governorate’s mobilization official, Badr Al-Majash. Participants’ speeches highlighted key moments from the life of the Imam of the revolutionaries, the role model of mujahideen, and the master of the youth of Paradise—his struggle and revolution against tyrants and oppressors.
In Al-Jubah district, attendees renewed their pledge of allegiance to the Master of Martyrs, vowing to follow the path of jihad and sacrifice in confronting the forces of tyranny and global arrogance, and in supporting the oppressed—a steadfast Husseini principle with no retreat or deviation.
In Majzar district, residents organized a speech event marking Ashura, the day blood triumphed over the sword. Participants’ speeches emphasized drawing lessons from Imam Hussein’s revolution and the reasons behind his martyrdom at the hands of those claiming to represent Islam.
In Harib Al-Qaramish district, Ashura was commemorated with two evening gatherings and a cultural event. Speakers expressed the tragedy and deviation that befell the Ummah in the event of Karbala, as well as the consequences of negligence and betrayal.
Participants in Ashura event in the Badbdah district affirmed that the tragedy of Karbala was not an isolated incident, but rather the result of and a witness to the deviation that had afflicted the Ummah.
Speech events were also held in the districts of Jabal Murad, Al-Abdiyah, Rahbah, and Qaniya, highlighting the stance of the Yemeni people as supporters of Imam Hussein, their sacrifices against unjust rulers, and their current position in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza and confronting global arrogance—America and Israel.
