The General Department of Traffic Police organized a commemorative speech event today in honor of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The event was attended by Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, Director General of Traffic, and Colonel Najeeb Al-Asadi, Director of Capital City Traffic.
Speaking at the event, member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, Allama Fuad Naji, emphasized the importance of commemorating Imam Hussein’s martyrdom to draw lessons from his noble life and apply them in reality.
He highlighted Imam Hussein’s virtues, his stance against tyranny, and his revolutionary spirit that continues to inspire steadfastness and resistance in the face of enemies of God, as well as rejection of domination, subjugation, and humiliation.
Naji described the occasion as a mobilizing moment to absorb values of sacrifice, courage, awareness, insight, and jihad—strengthening faith identity, adhering to Quranic principles, and standing united against enemy conspiracies.
