Bayda - Saba:
A commemorative event was held in Rada'a city in Bayda governorate, marking the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Speakers, including Bayda University Rector Dr. Ahmed al-Arami, emphasized that Imam Hussein’s uprising was a stand for truth, justice, and the oppressed—not a quest for power.
The speakers described his revolution as a timeless source of inspiration for courage, sacrifice, and resistance against tyranny.
The event highlighted the strong connection Yemenis feel with Imam Hussein’s legacy, especially amid ongoing aggression, and stressed the importance of drawing lessons from his path to support the oppressed, particularly in Palestine.
The gathering included officials, community leaders, and the recitation of expressive poems honoring the occasion.
