Nablus – SABA:
Three Palestinian youths were injured by live bullets on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on the eastern area of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, a 16-year-old was shot in the abdomen and hand, another 16-year-old was shot in the hand, and a 15-year-old was shot in the thigh during the incursion into the Tel area of Askar New Camp east of the city.
Meanwhile, two residents from Tulkarm refugee camp were assaulted and injured by Israeli forces while passing near the Annab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm city. The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its medical teams treated the two individuals, who suffered moderate injuries from a direct physical assault, and transferred them to Thabet Thabet Government Hospital for treatment.
The Annab checkpoint has recently witnessed heightened Israeli military measures, including intensified searches, frequent detentions of civilians and their vehicles, as well as ongoing physical assaults and provocations—all part of the escalating aggression in Tulkarm governorate and its refugee camps.
In a related development, Israeli forces also stormed the city of Hebron on Sunday evening, arresting a young man after beating him. Local sources reported that the forces raided the Jabal al-Rahma area, where they detained Rafe’ Dweik after physically assaulting him. Several other youths were temporarily detained and beaten before being released.
