Beirut – SABA:
Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Sunday evening targeting several towns in southern Lebanon.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the hostile warplanes bombed the area between the towns of Rday and Al-Matariyah along the Litani River in the Al-Qasimiya region.
It added that the enemy aircraft carried out a heavy airstrike on Wadi Al-Zarariya – Rzay.
The warplanes also struck the area between the towns of Ain Qana, Sarba, and Houmine Al-Fawqa in the Iqlim Al-Tuffah region.
The agency further reported that another airstrike targeted the heights of the town of Falawiya, adjacent to the town of Buday west of Baalbek, as well as another raid on Kafr Melki.
It confirmed that the enemy warplanes have intensified both combat and reconnaissance flights over the western and central sectors.
