Ibb University today concluded a week-long series of scientific seminars for second-year students of the 8th batch in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
The seminars aimed to foster the exchange of ideas between students and faculty members, deepen understanding of medical concepts, and enhance research and analytical skills.
The final session included presentations of the scientific content prepared by the 8th batch students under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Mansour.
Governor of Ibb, Abdulwahid Salah, praised the university and the Faculty of Medicine for organizing these scientific seminars as well as other academic activities. He emphasized the importance of continuing such events to further develop students’ skills and reinforce their medical knowledge.
During the closing ceremony, attended by Deputy Governor for Health Affairs Dr. Ashraf Al-Mutawakkil, Mobilization Officer Abdul-Fattah Ghallab commended the university’s enlightening role in building a generation rooted in religious and national values.
He also lauded the efforts of the university leadership, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the staff of Al-Thawra Teaching Hospital for contributing to the success of the scientific seminars.
Also present at the event were Dr. Abdulghani Ghabsha, Head of Al-Thawra Teaching Hospital Authority; Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khalid, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region; Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum, Vice President for Student Affairs; and Dr. Basheer Al-Umari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The participants were honored with certificates of appreciation.
