Al-Bayda – Saba:
The ‘Afaar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate has thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of electronic hookahs and their accessories, totaling 2,629 units.
The Center’s Director, Fahd Haza’a, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the seized items were hidden inside a concealed compartment in the trailer of a truck coming from the occupied city of Aden and heading to the capital, Sana’a.
He praised the vigilance of the customs officers for their efforts and their ability to uncover the smuggled goods, affirming that the center will spare no effort in fulfilling its national duties and preventing the smuggling of various goods.
