The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) considered the statements issued by former US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, in which he confirmed that Israel committed war crimes in Gaza, an important admission that condemns the occupation, confirms its crimes, and exposes the US administration's attempts to obscure the truth of this brutal war against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the movement said: "Miller clearly revealed that he was not permitted to tell the truth while in office and that he was forced to adhere to the official US government narrative regarding the occupation's practices. This exposes the deep political complicity of the US administration with the occupation and its criminal cover-up of its brutal violations."
She added: "This recognition not only condemns the occupation, but also holds Washington directly accountable as an actual partner in the war crimes and genocide being perpetrated against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, through funding, arming, providing political and diplomatic protection, and misleading media coverage."
