Tehran - Saba:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sharply criticized France, saying, "You should stop guiding and advising Iranians, as you lack the moral competence to do so."
As reported by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) on Monday, Araghchi said on his personal account on the social media platform X, "France should stop guiding Iranians, as it lacks the moral competence and credibility to do so."
He added, "There are many contradictory actions by France that call into question its claims to defend human rights."
He explained that France's behavior toward the Israeli entity and the war crimes it commits further exposes this contradiction.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the French Chargé d'Affaires in Tehran to protest the French Foreign Minister's interventionist and anti-Iranian positions.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry's statement on the matter stated that, in light of the offensive statements and baseless allegations made by the French Foreign Minister against Iran, the French Chargé d'Affaires in Tehran was summoned by Mohammad Tanhaei, head of the Second Department for Western European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and strongly protested the matter.
During this summons, the Iranian Foreign Ministry official considered the allegations made by the French Foreign Minister to be "blatant interference in Iran's internal affairs." While condemning such irresponsible and provocative positions, he demanded that the French Foreign Ministry provide an explanation.
