The activities of the folk arts performance festival continue for the second day in Tahrir Square in the capital, Sana'a, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in celebration of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.
The performances on the second day of the festival, which lasts for four days and is supported by the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, included segments of Tihama's heritage accompanied by Zawamil expressing the Yemeni unity and the importance of adhering to it, preserving it, and defending it, as well as expressing the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian cause and their solidarity with Gaza in facing the occupying Zionist entity.
It is noteworthy that during the days of the festival, which is held under the slogan (From Sana'a to Gaza), a number of folkloric and heritage performances from various governorates and regions of Yemen will be presented, alongside the Bara'a dances accompanied by Zawamil expressing the significance of resisting the forces of domination and arrogance and their tools among agents and normalizers.
