The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses for Female Students in the Capital Sana'a organized the final rounds of the Holy Quran Competition today for a number of female memorizers of the Holy Quran across the capital's districts for the year 1446 AH.
At the closing ceremony, Iman al-Shami, the official in charge of the Holy Quran Competitions for the Summer Schools, emphasized the importance of organizing Quran competitions that encourage and motivate female students to master the Holy Quran in the correct manner.
Al-Shami explained that the summer schools devote exceptional attention to the Holy Quran and its sciences and provide a significant space within the programs, activities, and subjects taught in the summer schools.
She praised the high level of competition demonstrated by the female competitors in Quran recitation and intonation, and the emergence of many female memorizers of the Holy Quran among the female students.
Finally, the first, second, and third place winners across the capital's districts were honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic prizes.
