The Minister of Youth and Sports described the competitive summer festival as an important step that reflects the state leadership's keenness to support summer schools, which work to develop the capacities, skills, and talents of competing students in various fields.
He emphasized the importance of summer programs in building a conscious generation, equipped with scientific, cultural, and intellectual knowledge based on Quranic principles and guidance. This ensures the protection of youth from destructive ideas and soft warfare waged by the nation's enemies while strengthening their faith-based and Quranic identity.

They have also contributed to uncovering promising talents and innovations.
He called on parents to encourage their children to actively participate in summer activities and benefit from their programs to learn what will benefit them in their lives.
For his part, the Director of Activities at the Education Office in the Secretariat and Head of the Festival’s Organizing Committee, Abdullah Samina, explained that over 800 students enrolled in summer schools across various districts of the capital are competing in the five-day festival.
