SALFIT August 26. 2024 (Saba) - Two Palestinian men were killed by Nazi Israeli forces near Salfit in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Ministry confirmed that Adi Nizar Nimr Abu Na'sa and Musab Hassan Ali Maqsaqs, both from Jenin governorate died from gunfire.
Their bodies are reportedly being held by Israeli authorities.
The fatalities occurred when Israeli forces opened heavy fire on the vehicle carrying the two men near the northern entrance to Salfit.
Attempts by citizens and emergency responders to reach the wounded were obstructed by Nazi Israeli troops.
In a related development, Israeli forces have closed Manshiyya Road southern Bethlehem.
According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed the village of al-Manshiya and blocked the main road with dirt barricades, disrupting access between the southern countryside and the Bethlehem Governorate.
Israeli forces have imposed stricter measures at military checkpoints around Nablus. Reports indicate that the checkpoints, including those at al-Murabba'a, Awarta, and Beit Furik, are nearly closed to traffic, creating severe congestion and delays for residents.
Soldiers are conducting thorough vehicle searches and identity checks, further impeding movement in the area.
