Taiz – SABA:
The General Union of Municipal and Housing Workers today honored the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, in recognition of his ongoing efforts and consistent support for sanitation workers and staff.
The union, along with its branch in the governorate, also honored several sanitation workers, park and landscaping staff, and outstanding tax collectors who demonstrated high levels of discipline and dedication during the 2024–2025 period. In addition, the Executive Director of the Taiz Sanitation Fund, Talal Al-Sufi, was recognized.
During the ceremony, the Union President, Mohammed Al-Marzouqi, expressed his gratitude to the Acting Governor for his continuous support and concern for the well-being of sanitation workers.
He noted that Taiz is considered one of the most successful governorates in terms of cleanliness efforts—an indicator of effective administrative performance and diligent oversight of sanitation services.
As a gesture of appreciation, Al-Masawi presented the Governorate’s Shield to the Executive Director of the Sanitation Fund, in acknowledgment of the efforts made by all workers at the fund.
