Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Iranian Ministry of Health, said 44 women and 13 children were martyred in the Zionist regime's terrorist attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Kermanpour wrote in a post on the X platform on Monday: "Since the beginning of the Israeli regime's military aggression against the Iranian people, 44 women have been martyred and 163 others have been injured," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency on Tuesday.
He added: Two of the martyrs were pregnant mothers and died along with their fetuses.
According to Kermanpour, 13 of the war martyrs were children, the youngest of whom was a two-month-old baby.
He added: "The youngest war wounded victim is four years old and is currently in the intensive care unit with 50% burns."
He explained that the child's mother, Dr. Rasouli, a gynecologist, the child's father, and his two-month-old sister were also martyred.
