Sa'ada - Saba:
Sa'ada Governorate Tender Committee, led by governor Mohammed Awad, held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the progress of ongoing projects for the years 1445-1446 AH and to approve new projects planned for 1447 AH.
The session, attended by Secretary-General of the Governorate’s Local Council Mohammed al-Emad and other officials, focused on several critical development initiatives.
Among the key decisions was the approval to include Sa'ada Old City Wall Project in the list of projects for 1447 AH. The project will be carried out in phases, following a detailed study to be reviewed by the relevant authorities.
The committee also examined various service, health, and agricultural projects, approving the submission of remaining budget balances from 1444 to 1446 AH to the Tender Committee for allocation.
In addition, the committee authorized a study to address necessary improvements for the road connecting the vicinity of al-Salam Hospital to the Specialized Hospital intersection. The study’s findings will be forwarded to the Road Maintenance Fund for implementation.
Governor Awad highlighted the importance of conducting a comprehensive study on emergency projects, which will be executed in multiple phases to meet urgent needs within the governorate.
The meeting underscores Sa'ada governorate’s commitment to advancing infrastructure and public services through careful planning and phased project execution.
