Following his talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine and Britain have reached an agreement on jointly producing drones.
"Today I had a meaningful meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added, "We talked about developing defense cooperation. Cooperation in this area will allow Ukraine to obtain stable funding for important projects, specifically in the production of interceptor drones and long-range drones.
He continued, "Today's meeting yielded positive results and an additional decision regarding joint drone production."
Zelensky added that Kyiv has made progress in strengthening Ukrainian air defense in partnership with London.
Earlier, Starmer reported that London and Kyiv had reached an agreement on joint production of military equipment and weapons.
The agreements were announced during Zelensky's visit to London, where he was received by King Charles III of Britain at Windsor Castle.
