SANAA, Sep. 2 (Saba) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil, met on Sunday with UN Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Lise Grande.
The meeting discussed the health and humanitarian situations in Yemen and the urgent needs as a result of the continued aggression and blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on the country.
The two sides also reviewed the brutal massacres committed by the coalition warplanes against childhood in Yemen, the latest of which were in al-Durihemi district of Hodeidah province and Dhahyan district in Saada province.
In the meeting, Dr. al-Mutawakil praised the efforts made by the UN humanitarian coordinator, as well as her visit to the wounded children in Dhahyan attack.
