SANA'A May 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Supreme Committee of the National Campaign in Support of Al-Aqsa reviewed in its weekly meeting today, chaired by the Advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council - Chairman of the Committee, the scholar Muhammad Muftah, the general indicators of the decision and campaign to boycott Israeli and American goods and companies supporting the Zionist enemy at the official and popular levels.
The committee discussed the reports submitted by the concerned authorities, especially the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tax Authority, on the various measures taken to enhance the steps achieved in preventing the import or entry of goods covered by the boycott decision to the capital Sana'a and the free governorates in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories.
The reports confirmed the strict commitment to the implementation of the boycott decision and the tightening of measures related to this aspect by not allowing the entry of any Israeli or American goods, as well as the goods of companies supporting the Zionist entity.
In its report, the Ministry of Industry indicated that the ministry is in the process of implementing a campaign to inventory the remaining stocks of these goods in the markets, especially smuggled ones, in preparation for their confiscation and destruction.
The Supreme Committee of the National Campaign in Support of Al-Aqsa stressed on all concerned and relevant authorities to tighten the procedures related to the boycott and to report on the results achieved in this regard.
It praised the measures taken by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other bodies in this regard. She pointed to the important and positive effects of the boycott process in supporting Gaza and its people and in inflicting heavy losses on the economy of the Zionist and American enemy and the companies supporting the entity.
The Committee praised the growing level of popular awareness of the high importance of the boycott campaign within the framework of the escalation and confrontation steps against the Zionist enemy and its supporters, and the support of the brothers in Gaza who have been subjected to a comprehensive war of extermination since the seventh of October 2023 until the moment.
It called on the Yemeni people to continue their blessed boycott of the lost Zionist and American enemy and the companies supporting it, considering that the boycott is a type of jihad in support of Palestine and its oppressed people.
The committee approved the intensification of awareness activity in various media and guidance media regarding the boycott decision and campaign, while continuing to reach out to the various concerned and relevant authorities to determine the level of implementation and responsible commitment to the boycott decision.
The committee approved the program of the major weekly mass march next Friday afternoon in the seventy square, which will be held in conjunction with similar marches that will take place in public squares in the governorates under the title "escalation by escalation ... with Gaza until victory."
The committee called on the free and proud Yemeni people to participate significantly in these marches in line with the announcement by the Yemeni armed forces of the start of the implementation of the fourth phase of escalation against the enemy.
The committee reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
