Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Monday that Russia will submit its response to the closure of its consulate general in Krakow, Poland, and will notify the Polish side after taking the necessary interministerial measures.

In statements to the Russian news agency TASS, Zakharova added, "An appropriate response will soon be given to these inappropriate measures. This action will not remain unanswered, and an appropriate response will be provided."

She continued, "The necessary interministerial measures will be taken... Naturally, the Polish side will be notified."
