Prisoners' institutions have reported that Zionist enemy forces arrested 530 Palestinians, including 60 children and 18 women, in the occupied West Bank during April. These arrests occurred amidst ongoing aggression in the West Bank, coinciding with the war on Gaza.
The Palestinian News Agency stated that Jenin and Tulkarm experienced the highest concentration of arrests and attacks, involving violent operations, including field executions and infrastructure destruction. Hundreds of citizens across the West Bank, including women and children, were also targeted, facing physical and psychological abuse and being used as hostages.
The total number of arrests in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has now reached approximately 17,000. Notably, there was an unprecedented increase in administrative detention orders in April, with the total number of administrative detainees reaching 3,577 by the beginning of May, including over 100 children – the highest figure since the occupation began.
Prisoner testimonies from April indicate the continuation of violations within Zionist prisons, including torture, starvation, and medical neglect.
