Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) issued an urgent appeal on Monday to the international community to provide immediate protection for medical and relief personnel working in the Palestinian territories, in light of the dangerous escalation in the targeting of humanitarian workers.
In a statement, the PRCS confirmed that the number of paramedics who have lost their lives since the beginning of this year in the city of Rafah alone has reached 8 people, bringing the total number of martyrs among the organization since the start of the recent aggression on the Gaza Strip to 48.
It indicated that the number of martyrs among medical and humanitarian workers in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 1,400.
