Sana'a (Saba) – The May 22 team qualified for the second stage of the General Second Division Basketball League, organized by the General Basketball Federation with the participation of 13 teams from various governorates.

May 22 qualified after a resounding 93-23 victory over Shabab Al-Ahmadi Rada'a in the first stage of the league at the Al-Ahli Club Hall in Sana'a.
