France condemned on Wednesday the Israeli airstrike on a densely populated area in central Gaza that killed two humanitarian workers from a non-governmental organization on June 26.
France extended its condolences to the victims' families and loved ones, calling for a swift investigation into the circumstances of the incident and accountability for those responsible.
It stressed the necessity of protecting civilians and humanitarian workers under all circumstances in accordance with international humanitarian law.
