The local authority in Taiz Governorate organized a workshop aimed at unifying efforts to achieve sustainable development in accordance with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the outcomes of the Ministry of Administration and Local Development.
Officials from the governorate, agricultural authorities, and the military sector participated in the workshop, discussing the importance of cooperation and coordination between various entities to promote comprehensive development, particularly in the agricultural sector.
The workshop emphasized the importance of cooperative societies and community initiatives, the role of zakat in financing economic empowerment projects, and emphasized the need to monitor project implementation and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis. The General Authority for Agricultural Research also reviewed its efforts to restore its activities after 2020, with support from the leadership, and announced plans for field visits to evaluate the performance of agricultural societies, emphasizing the implementation of economic and social projects over the next six months.
