Oxfam International said that the famine in Gaza is deliberate and planned, creating the largest population in the world facing famine. It explained that silence on the starvation in the Gaza Strip is complicity.
In a statement on Monday, it added, "Our staff are seeing families in Gaza suffering from hunger, and children suffering from malnutrition and so weak they cannot cry."
It emphasized that Israel's use of aid as a weapon constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and threatens to push a catastrophic crisis to total collapse.
The organization warned that turning aid into a tool of control endangers civilians and threatens further chaos and suffering throughout Gaza.
