Saba Reporter: Gaza Strip witnessing difficult night as result of Zionist raids

GAZA May 7. 2024 (Saba)-Last night, the Gaza Strip witnessed a difficult and harsh night as a result of the hysterical and intense Zionist raids on various areas of the Strip, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens.

In this context, the correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) in Gaza confirmed today, Tuesday, that last night was undoubtedly a difficult and harsh night for various areas in the Gaza Strip, as it was full of Zionist raids from the north.

He said: In the northern Gaza Strip, the raids from Zionist warplanes and artillery shells intensified last night on the areas of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, as well as the Jabalia refugee camp, which led to the destruction of a number of homes and institutions, and until this moment a large number of martyrs and wounded have been transferred, and there are also many others, they still under the rubble.

He pointed out that this also happened last night, in the central areas of the Gaza Strip. Still, the most severe night was in the south of the Gaza Strip, specifically in the city of Rafah, where the Zionist raids continued from yesterday evening until this moment on the areas of the city of Rafah, especially the eastern areas.

He pointed out that the raids were carried out by Zionist warplanes, which dropped explosive barrels towards the homes of Palestinian citizens, as well as hundreds of artillery shells fired toward residential and agricultural areas.

He stressed that this led to a state of severe panic among citizens, and this was followed by a ground incursion by tanks of the Zionist enemy army, which reached the vicinity of the Rafah land crossing.

He explained that all these developments caused great fear for the citizens of the city of Rafah, most of whom have not been able, up to this moment, to migrate from the eastern regions to the western regions, which the Zionist enemy army claims safe areas, and this is all a lie... stressing that the Zionist enemy always lies when he says there are secure areas.

He stated that in the beginning there were areas south of the Gaza Valley that were safe, but now the Zionist enemy has penetrated most areas of the southern Gaza Valley and is currently penetrating the city of Rafah.

The Saba correspondent said: This incursion also caused the complete closure of the Rafah land crossing, whether in terms of passenger movement or the movement of goods and aid... stressing that this will lead in the coming days to a deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe, as no aid has entered the southern Gaza Strip since yesterday evening Gaza.

He also explained that the Zionist raids have been intense and continuous until this moment, and many martyrs and wounded have also arrived from the city of Rafah from several massacres committed by the Zionist enemy army in the city, and there are also several missing people.

He also stressed that there are very great fears that these military operations will expand in the city of Rafah, which will lead to a very real catastrophe among the citizens of the city of Rafah, which includes more than one million and 300 thousand citizens and displaced.

There is also a great fear of an increasing number of martyrs and wounded among the population, this huge overpopulation.

At the conclusion of his speech, the correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) reiterated the fact that people do not know where to go amid this great panic and intense fear that Palestinian citizens, especially children, and women, are experiencing... stressing that last night was, in any case, a difficult and harsh night for various regions and in the Gaza Strip... Hoping that this aggression will end quickly.
