SANA'A May 08. 2024 (Saba) - Mufti of Yemen Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din and Sana'a Governor - Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for Summer Courses, Abdulbasit al-Hadi, on Wednesday inspected the progress of summer activities in a number of schools in Jahana district.
Sharaf al-Din and al-Hadi reviewed the summer activities at the Grand Mosque in Jahana, the schools of the martyr leader in the eastern sector, the martyr of the Qur’an in Beit al-Ruwaishan, and al-Nasr in al-Musannah in Asnaf district.
They heard from official of the summer courses in the eastern sector, Ahsan Al-Abadi an explanation about the level of students’ interaction with the programs and activities implemented in the sector.
Sharaf al-Din and al-Hadi also listened to examples of students’ readings and participation in the Holy Qur’an, Quranic culture, public speaking, poetry, chanting and other activities, which they acquired during the last period of the courses.
The Mufti of Yemen pointed out the importance of summer courses and activities in refining souls and refining abilities and talents in various aspects.
He explained that what distinguishes the people of Yemen from others is that the imams of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, lived among them, ruled, guided, taught, and linked the nation to the religion of God and the Holy Qur’an.
